I’m so excited to share our interview with our second realtor of the week, Jody Zink! Awhile back, Kathy and I started a new segment on the Photography By K social media called “Realtor of the Week”, where we ask a realtor we work with frequently a few questions and share them with you on our blog and Facebook! While it’s been a bit slow-going, due to some changes in the business, which you can read about here, we here at Photography By K are getting into the new groove.

So with that out of the way, let’s focus on Jody! Below are her answers to our questions. We hope you enjoy our second edition of realtor of the week!

Q: How long have you been in the real estate business?

A: 13 years.

Q: What did you do prior to real estate?

A: I was a television news reporter for WTOL.

Q: Where is your primary market area (Sylvania, Maumee, Bedford, Perrysburg, etc.)?

A: I work in Sylvania, Maumee, Perrysburg, West Toledo, South Toledo, and Bedford.

Q: What do you love most about your job?

A: Getting clients happily to the finish line with my amazing staff!

Q: What is one tip for sellers when listing their home for sale?

A: MINIMIZE. Remember, less is more.

Now here are some of our fun questions we asked Jody!

A: Dirty Dancing

Q: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

A: I love Spouse like a House at Handel’s (Open year-round by the way)!

Q: What is your spirit animal?

A: I would say a pony.

Q: Are you a dog or cat person?

A: Cat — they’re lower maintenance.

Q: If you could have lunch with any fictional character, who would it be (superhero, a character from your favorite movie/television show, Santa, etc.)?

A: Jack Bauer! (He’s the protagonist of Fox’s television series 24.)

Here are some other fun facts about Jody!

Jody grew up on a hog farm.

Jody often carries a Scooby Doo lunchbox.

Jody has a figurine of Steve Jobs on her desk.

Jody ran the New York City marathon with P-Diddy in 2003.
How cool are all of those things?! Thanks for sharing, Jody!!
We really hope you enjoyed learning more about Jody! Here’s her information, if you’d like to contact her about selling your house, or if you just want to learn more fun facts about her. She has many!

Hi, and welcome back to Photography By K’s blog. As you can tell, it’s been fairly deserted yesterday. Lots of changes have been happening around the studio, or should I say not at the studio, since it’s only been Roxanne there on her own!  While I’m sure most people check Facebook for all Photography By K news, I wanted to write a short recap of everything that’s been going on at the studio before I continue with normal blogs.

Let’s start with the boss, Kathy. She’s moved to Jacksonville, Florida! Jason accepted a new position with Southeastern Grocers, and the rest is history! Kathy hired Roxanne as our real estate photographer. We aren’t doing portrait photography anymore. However, Roxanne is doing a great job at all the houses she’s been photographing!

Now, I’ve also moved. While I wish I could have moved to Florida with Kathy, I’ve started college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While I can’t help Roxanne with taking the photographs anymore, I’m still working with Kathy, especially as she’s getting settled in at her new home. I’ve been neglecting the blog lately, as I’ve been getting settled in my new home and adjusted to college life.

So, now you’re all caught up! I hope your excited as I am as more posts start coming from the Photography By K blog!
